Kick-off Meeting

On 24-25 September 2025, the consortium gathered in Athens, Greece for the project’s Kick-off Meeting.
Over two days, partners discussed the project’s objectives and roadmap, from cryptocurrency transaction analysis, to training, co-design, and dissemination strategies.

The meeting set the foundation for a strong collaboration between all partners, ensuring impactful outcomes in the fight against illegal activities in the crypto space.

CryptoAction Workshop #1 — Brussels, Belgium

On 22 April 2026, the first CryptoACTION workshop — “LEA Workshop on Cryptocurrencies” — was held in Brussels, Belgium, drawing strong participation and valuable insights. CryptoACTION brought together law enforcement professionals and key stakeholders for this interactive workshop on cryptocurrencies and their role in modern investigations.

Participants exchanged knowledge, shared experiences, and contributed to discussions shaping the future of CFCT investigations. The workshop sparked insightful discussions and fostered meaningful new connections.

CryptoAction goes to Zurich: Plenary Meeting

On 13–14 May 2026, the CryptoACTION consortium met in Zurich, Switzerland for the project’s Plenary Meeting. Partners reviewed the progress achieved so far, aligned on initial technical requirements, and coordinated the next steps of the collaboration.

Discussions focused on the work completed, procedural and management updates, dissemination activities, ongoing events, and the planning of actions for the upcoming months.

“Project to Policy Seminar” — Brussels, Belgium

On 10–11 June 2026, CryptoACTION was proudly represented at the “Project to Policy Seminar” in Brussels, bringing together policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and security stakeholders to discuss how research can support evidence-based policy development across Europe.

CryptoACTION took part in the Fighting Crime & Terrorism (FCT) breakout session, where innovative projects and collaborative initiatives were showcased — highlighting the collective effort to strengthen security, resilience, and law enforcement capabilities across Europe.
